Amelia's Birthday - Chapter Sixty Seven

Kristen was talking to Amelia in the study. "I see you are feeling better. I need to talk to you about a few things before I go back to Winchester." she told Amelia.

"I have a nun that has attended many of the royal family in sickness and other things, I have called her here to see if you are with child." she explained to Amelia. In shock Amelia kept her cool but now feared if she was indeed with child that she may face death.

"I'm sure it will turn out that I've come down with something. I might have gotten something from where we were on our honeymoon." she told Kristen with a shaky voice. "We will see." she told Amelia in a cold tone.

Kristen had a nun and Lady Molly present while the nun examined Amelia's belly. She began to ask her personal questions that made Amelia very uncomfortable to answer in front of Kristen. Then came the hard part part where the nun gave her a complete examine. The nun then had Amelia dressed after she was done. "Shes indeed with child. Shes very early." she told Kristen.

Kristen then demanded everyone but Amelia to leave the room. "I can't believe this. The one thing that I didn't want to happen, just did. You are useless. I just don't see what he sees in you. I will not have my bloodline left up to this curse." Kristen screamed at Amelia. Kristen then stomped out of the room, leaving Amelia crying.

Kristen found James in the banquet hall. She lit into him with fury. "I can't believe you two were so careless, you are now giving me cursed grand child." she screamed at him.

"She began to scream even louder at James. "I will not except this child if its born this way. I refuse! If you want a heir you will have to produce another child that is normal. I will not leave my kingdom to this curse." she screamed at him while trying to keep from hitting him.

James knew he made his mother once again mad. But was starting to lose his patience in making his mother happy. After she finished yelling at him she stormed out of the room.

James ran up to Amelia's room to find her. She was standing by herself crying in her room. He ran over and put his arms around her. "Please don't cry. I know that you are with child, and this makes me very happy. I will love it no matter what it is. I'm going to put a stop to this war my mother has against us." he told her still keeping in his loving embrace.

After several hours of trying to to calm Amelia down she was exhausted from all the crying. So James put her to bed and then crawled in bed with her. It was different feeling her cuddle up to him. She was cool to the touch and gave him a little bit of a chill. He never noticed it before but wished he was not human. He was missing being himself.

The next morning James awoke to see Amelia in a better mood. "My Love, you look beautiful. I hope your feeling better." he asked. "Yes I do feel a bit better, just a bit sick to my stomach still. It mainly happens in the mornings." she replied.

"Today is a very special day for you. I want you to have fun and let me deal with my mother. I have something special for you later. Meet me down in the banquet hall in about a hour." James told Amelia. He gave her a hug and kissed her gently.

"It was almost time for her to meet James in the banquet hall and she stepped out in the daylight to see the flowers for just a moment before it would have any effect on her.

She was shocked to see James standing there with a cake and all the guest he had put together. She walked over to James that was standing beside the table. "Happy birthday, my love." James told her. She was about ready to embark on a new chapter on her life. 

Everyone gathered and watched Amelia make a wish as they cheered. Kristen however wasn't thrilled now that she knew that Amelia was with child and this made her plan to cure her.

Amelia aged up and was now a beautiful fair young lady. Her eyes you could get lost in and her smile could melt anyone. James kissed her on her cheek and told her that he would see her in a little while, that he had to talk to his mother.

After everyone left and James sent Amelia with her lady's, James Wanted a word with his mother. "I'm really disappointed with you!" Kristen began but was cut off by James. "Stop! I have had enough, you have dictated my whole life, I'm a grown man now, you have done your job as a good mother and have raised me well. I will be a good king one day because of you, but it stops here. I made the decision to be with Amelia, and to be her husband, and to be the father of her children no matter what they are. I will love her no different and want her just like she is. I'm not allowing her to be changed, so stop trying. Shes going to live a happy life with me from this point on." he told his mom with a stern tone.

"You are actually going to talk to me like that. How dare you!" Kristen hissed. "Yes I will, Its my life now, you chose your path and did what you felt was right in your heart, now its my turn." he replied. "Then it is settled, if you choose to stay on this path that you are bound to, then It leaves me no choice but to disinherit you from the crown. I will have nothing to do with this. I'm going home." she yelled.

Kristen then had her carriage drawn and headed back to Winchester leaving heartbroken and upset. "Ive just lost my son again." she thought to herself.

James Is Faced With A Hard Decision - Chapter Sixty Six

James and Amelia returned from there honeymoon. "I'm the luckiest man alive. I hope to have a lot of children with you some day." James told Amelia. "I hope so too, they will be the cutest kids ever." she gushed.

After a long night they headed to what use to be Amelia's room to sleep for the day. "I got a message that my mother will be coming for a visit tomorrow." he told Amelia breaking the silence. "I wonder what she wants?" Amelia asked. "I have an idea, but I'm hoping that I'm wrong." he replied.

When the night came, Kristen showed up to see them. "I hope your trip went well. I have some business to discuss with you both." she explained to them. This worried Amelia, she knew why she had come so soon after they got back.

"I have come to bring you the potion." she told James. "Amelia you will have to wait till next week after her birthday." she told Amelia. Amelia grabbed her stomach and put her hand over her mouth trying not to throw up. It was no use, she was going to throw up and had to act quick.

Right out of the blue, Amelia ran off to find the nearest bathroom to throw up in. Kristen stood there in shock as she watched her run out of the room.

James found Amelia laying on the bed very sick looking. "Whats wrong?" James asked as he sat down on the bed pulling her into his lap. "It must have been something I ate or drank, I'm ok, I just need to rest a bit." she reassured him. "I will tell my mom that you are not feeling well and that you will come down in a bit." he told her.

After some time, Amelia came down to find Kristen. "I see that your feeling a bit better, are you alright?" she asked. "I do feel better, I must have ate something that didn't agree with me." she replied.

"I don't think so, I think your with child!" Kristen told Amelia. Amelia stood there shocked by what Kristen had just told her. "That can't be, we were careful." she told Kristen. "Well knowing from experience, the only time I ever got sick was from being pregnant with James and after I took the potion." she told her. "I think its something else, I don't feel pregnant and we were really careful." she told her. "Lets hope so, for you will have went back on your word." Kristen reminded her.

Later that night when it was almost daylight, Amelia laid beside James. "What's wrong, you look like your worried about something." he asked her.

Amelia sat up and looked at James with tears now in her eyes. "Your mom thinks I'm with child. I thought we were careful, now if I am shes going to be so mad, its hard to tell what she will do to me." she cried out. "If you are, we will deal with it, but if your not then its something you come down with. Either way, it will be ok, just don't cry my love." he told her as he cuddled her close into his arms.

He wanted to get his meeting over with his mom so she could go back home. He knew what laid before him and didn't want Amelia to see him in such pain. So he left her sleeping soundly, while he got dressed. He turned back to look at Amelia sleeping soundly. "I hope I'm doing the right thing" he thought to himself.

He made sure he was quiet when he left and headed down the courtyard for one last run. The moon was out with all the stars. It was a very beautiful night that many didn't even bother to see.

Amelia slept in and when she awoke she found James had already got up and was probably entertaining his mom. She got dressed and was almost ready to meet up with James and his mother when she got hit with a stomach cramp. She grabbed her stomach and groaned out with pain.

Then she was hit with the overwhelming urge to throw up again. "Whats wrong with me?" she thought to herself.

Meanwhile downstairs Kristen meet up with James in the study. She took out a red bottle and handed it to James. He looked at his mom and was not ready for what she was about ready to say. "As part of your word, you are to take the potion." she requested. James looked down at the bottle and didn't want anything to do with it. But if he didn't drink it he would have to face the wrath of his mother and she could end his happiness.

He took a deep breath and try to prepared for the transformation.

James drank it down as fast as he could. The taste was awful and almost gaged him. He felt it burning through his veins. His whole body began to shake. The bottle shattered on the floor as he dropped it with the next violent shake that ripped through his body.

After some time of him groaning with pain and shaking, he finally stood up. Kristen looked at him for the first time as a human. He had color in his face and had pretty blue eyes, just like hers.

"I know you didn't want this, but you will see that it was the right decision. When you have children and they are normal and not with this curse you will thank me later. You will be able to go out in the light and not depend on blood to survive. Once Amelia turns to a adult she will be just like you and you will be happy. You will get use to it." she told James. James just stood there silent. He didn't like how he felt. He was warm feeling and could feel his heart beating. He knew it was to late for him, it was done and there was no turning back. He only hoped that Amelia would except him like this.

James found Amelia in the ballroom. She took one look at him and noticed he had changed. She covered her face and began to cry. James ran over to her and fell to his knees. "Please don't cry. I didn't want to do it but she insisted. I can't lose you. I would die for you." he pleaded.

Amelia bent down and joined him on the floor. He pulled her into his arms and held her tight. "I love you no matter how you are,I just hoped that she wouldn't make you do it. She will defiantly make me do the same." she replied. "It will be ok, as long as I have you." he told her.

Kristen Gets The Potions Ready - Chapter Sixty Five

Kristen and William arrive back at her castle to be greeted by her best friend, Lara. "How was your trip?" Lara asked. "It was really nice, the wedding was very beautiful. James and Amelia seemed really happy. There are off enjoying there honeymoon." she replied.

Kristen summoned her wizard to talk to him about getting started on the potion. "I have a request for you . I want you to get started on two potions. One will be for my son and the other will be for his wife. I will need these soon." she instructed her wizard. "That will be no problem, I will get started on getting everything prepared and will have them ready for you really soon." he replied and headed out to start his task.

"I have got the wizard started on the potions, I can't wait to see James and Amelia back to normal, and soon to have some grandchildren." she told William. "I know it means a lot of you to have normal grandchildren but I truly think they are happy the way they are." he replied. "I will hear nothing of this, they will be normal, I want them to be normal. I will hear nothing else of this." she said stern to William. Realizing he had struck a nerve with her he quickly changed the subject.

After a week of gathering the necessary ingredients for the potion he began to look around for his instructions he wrote out when he made the last potions for Amelia's family.

After some searching he found the book. He looked it over carefully and began putting them together.

He heated up his pot and began to add the stuff. Once it was all in, he stirred it till it was hot and mixed. The potion boiled and changed colors as it mixed.

 "I have done what you requested of me. I have finished the potion and its ready for both of them." he told Kristen.

"I'm pleased to hear this, I will get them when I head over to the castle when they get back from there honeymoon." she told him.

It took several days to get it just right. After the potion cooled off he took a red bottle off his shelf. He dipped the spoon into the pot and scooped the potion out into the bottle. When he was done he put a cork into the top and headed to find Kristen.

He handed Kristen the red bottle of potion. "Is this the potion?" Kristen asked him. "Yes just as you requested. It's ready for your son to drink. He should turn just like you. Don't forget what you experienced when he starts to transform." he reminded her. "When Amelia has her birthday I will need another potion made. She should be having a birthday shortly after she gets back." she told him.

Kristen looked down at the bottle and tried to think of what James would look like when he turned normal. This excited her, she had waited for this since he was born.

Kristen was so excited that she rushed off to find William. She found him in there chambers. "I have great news, the wizard has finished the potion. We must see James and Amelia as soon as they get back, there will be no time to waste." she told William.

William was pleased to see Kristen so happy, but didn't like that she was forcing something on them that they didn't want. They didn't know what it felt like to be human, they were living a normal life. "I'm happy for you. I know you have waited so long for this." he told her as he wrapped his arms around her pulling her close and then kissed her gently on the lips.
