The queen's ladies take care of Kristen when the queen is away with the king.

On Kristen's first birthday, they threw her a party to celebrate her turning one.
As a toddler, Kristen learns to talk, walk, and read at a young age.
Edward spends a lot of time with Kristen when he gets a chance to slip away from court affairs.
